If you make a living selling houses, fine. Buy a house to sell it later.

If you make a living selling shares, fine. Buy a share to sell it later.

If you make a living selling fruit, fine. Buy a fruit to sell it later.

Otherwise, never buy to sell. Buy to hold forever.

If you can’t buy and hold, don’t buy at all.
