Keep adapting your form to your function

Many people get stuck doing the same things because they worked in the past.

Take a church for example. A church building (form) was used for social gatherings and preaching (function).

But as the world has changed, the “form” of a church building has been made redundant by social media and the internet.

That doesn’t mean the church has lost its function. It still acts a place for social gatherings and preaching, but the physical building is no longer as necessary.

Companies are the same. Your company’s function may never change, but the form must.

Keep adapting your form to your function.
